Smilodon Figure
Smilodon Figure
The Smilodon, often called the "saber-toothed tiger," lived in America around 12,000 years ago, at the end of the last ice age. This large feline could reach 2.5 meters in length and was distinguished by its impressive curved canines, over 20 cm long.
Interesting fact: despite their size, its fangs were fragile and were mainly used to slice flesh, not to kill its prey. It likely hunted in groups, which allowed it to take down large herbivores like bison or giant sloths.
The Papo Smilodon figurine captures all the power of this mythical predator: prominent muscles, spectacular fangs, and a realistic attacking posture. An ideal model to complete a prehistoric collection and explore the era of extinct giants.
A great gift idea for curious children, prehistoric enthusiasts, and dinosaur adventurers, and Papo figurine collectors.
