The coconut fibers are fixed to the base with glue; therefore, not all fibers are held in the same way, and it is completely normal for some fibers to come loose at the beginning of its use.

For cleaning, proceed dry. Use a brush, do not use water and do not put in a washing machine.

Each doormat is made from the husk of approximately 25 coconuts. The husks are first "seasoned" in coastal lagoons where they are harvested, then manually beaten to extract the fiber. The doormats are then hand-painted and colored one by one using different stencils. A traditional outdoor sun-drying technique then fixes the paint to the surface of the doormat. Finally, a non-slip base is added to keep the doormat firmly in place and reduce the risk of slipping.
