Poitou Donkey Figurine
Poitou Donkey Figurine
With its long, woolly fleece and imposing stature, the Poitou donkey is one of the oldest French donkey breeds. Originally from the Poitou marshlands, it is recognizable by its dark brown coat forming long locks, giving it a look that is both rustic and majestic.
Interesting fact: this rare breed, once threatened with extinction, was saved thanks to conservation programs. Gentle, patient, and with a calm temperament, the Poitou donkey is an animal that is as strong as it is endearing.
The Papo figurine reproduces this exceptional breed with striking realism: precisely sculpted fur, natural posture, and peaceful gaze. An essential piece for a collection of realistic farm animals or to raise awareness about the preservation of ancient species.
A great gift idea for curious children, farm enthusiasts, animal and country life lovers, and collectors of Papo figurines.
