In January 2010, a day before a couple of friends' wedding, the "Duck Dad", as he is now known with love, was lying in the tub and wondering if anyone had ever conceived their own duck. made of rubber. During the festivities, he told his friends about the idea of representing Mozart as a rubber duck and was very well received.

As a training server having worked for many years at top establishments in Salzburg, you have no idea how to start a business, but you have a large circle of friends and acquaintances who actively support you to this day. Mr. Rudolf's former apprentice, Clemens Mayr, designed Mozart's first duck and still designs Austroducks rubber ducks today. Iris Schweinöster is responsible for the product photos. But the family also helps a lot, the niece Anna takes care of social media and the nephew Maximilian checks the feasibility of the ideas.

When we designed these bath ducks , it was important to everyone that they bring joy and happiness to people of all ages. Our squeaky ducks must look great, feel great, and float properly and upright! And they should, as you would expect from a good bath duck , be made of latex and not be made from PVC.

Latex is a natural product that even the little ones can have fun with. Babies see the world with big eyes, and the first few months love to explore with their mouths. They literally devour their toys and chew on anything they can get their hands on.

While many bath ducks are made of PVC which contains softeners that are harmful to health, Austro-ducks are made entirely without the use of softeners and solvents. They are hand painted with latex colors during manufacture and are therefore ideal for young children.

We also only use environmentally friendly materials for the packaging of our bath ducks. We believe that small businesses must also take responsibility and therefore we are determined to design our products to last.
