Back to the future (Back to the Future) is a movie of science fiction American realized by Robert Zemeckis, released in 1985.
The plot chronicles a teenager's journey into the past, Marty McFly, aboard a time travelling machine made by the doctor Emmett Brown from a model car DeLorean DMC-12. Starting in 1985 and propelled in 1955, Marty, helped by " Doc Of 1955, must resolve the temporal paradoxes provoked by his interventions in the past and find a way to make the machine to return to its original time.
While the film was intended as a single film, its commercial success resulted in two sequels, Back to the future 2 (1989) and Back to the future 3 (1990), which form a trilogy and lead to the development of a franchise on various media.
